Political Work & Ethics Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2025
At Tribal Media, we believe that great storytelling and strategic communication can shape communities, drive awareness, and build trust. From local elections to regional initiatives, our work in the political space is guided by the same standards of professionalism and creative integrity that define all of our client partnerships.
Our Approach to Political Work
Tribal Media occasionally partners with local and regional political candidates and organizations to provide campaign strategy, creative direction, media buying, and advertising services. We approach these partnerships as communicators — not advocates — with a focus on clarity, authenticity, and results.
Our role is to help clients share their vision effectively and ethically. We do not align our agency with any specific political party or ideology, and our creative work reflects a commitment to balanced, message-driven communication.
Agency Neutrality
Tribal Media operates as a nonpartisan agency. While we may assist individual candidates or political committees under contract, we do not endorse, promote, or oppose any political party or platform as an organization.
We maintain clear internal boundaries between political and nonpolitical clients to ensure fairness, transparency, and creative consistency across all projects. Each account is managed with dedicated oversight, defined approval workflows, and strict adherence to campaign communication guidelines.
Personal Political Expression
Our team members, including agency leadership, are free to participate in civic and political activities as private citizens. However, personal political opinions or activities do not represent Tribal Media or its views as an organization.
We ask all team members to keep political expression separate from agency communications, social media accounts, and public-facing materials to preserve neutrality and professionalism.
Ethical Standards & Transparency
Tribal Media is committed to ethical advertising practices and full compliance with all applicable election and campaign communication laws. We prioritize transparency, authenticity, and factual accuracy in all political advertising and outreach efforts.
If a potential conflict of interest arises between a political campaign and an existing client, we disclose it promptly and determine the appropriate course of action to ensure continued trust and integrity in all relationships.
